Creaform is currently looking for an Application Engineer to cover the Germany territory. The position will be based in Stuttgart. The position will require the selected candidate to carry out data acquisition projects in house and as well as at the customers’ premises.
Role and Responsabilities:
  • Supporting the sales department by performing technical demos for clients, establishing benchmarks and attending trade shows;
  • Defining customers’ needs related to Creaform technologies and services;
  • Providing solutions that best fits customer needs in order to progress towards purchasing, integrating and using Creaform technologies (laser scanners, portable CMM, photogrammetry);
  • Acting as a reference for the Creaform product line (use and knowledge);
  • Working closely with customers, distributors, subsidiaries and HQ regarding various training, integration activities as well as projects involving the use of the Creaform product line;
  • Adapting or developing new methodologies and/or specific solutions in order to solve issues encountered by customers when using the technologies;
  • Writing and translating technical and training documents.
Required Profile:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field/work experience;
  • 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field;
  • Interest in sales and customer service (degree in sales/marketing) is an asset;
  • Quick learner;
  • Technical writing skills;
  • Demonstrating autonomy and initiative;
  • Bilingual (German & English) is mandatory. French is an asset.
